I used this as my final guide for changing the oil on my 2011 2.5L Golf 4DR hatchback.

The guide was awesome for me as a complete NEWBIE to changing oil. I did it without lifting the car at all.

***My only warning to anyone: make sure you have the oil filter housing securely tightened all the way back into the car. I was not initially using a flashlight for a good view and just did it by feel and a little with an oil filter wrench. Definitely did not have it all the way in because as soon as I started the car a sputtering spilling sound emitted from underneath the car.

My 5 quarts of oil was on the cardboard because I had not completely screwed the oil filter housing back in place. Needless to say, I had a slight heart attack but then realized my mistake, cleaned up, and got it right the second time.

Thanks again. This guide was awesome!MrAllenUhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10694751684848027281noreply@blogger.com
